The temple tragedy took place around 11.30am when a group of 40-50 devotees (it's still not known how many) had gathered at Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal temple for a havan on Ram Navami. They had no clue that the ground beneath their feet hid a well and all that stood between them and death was merely tiles on an iron grille.

EC cracks down on money power, 58cr seizures in past mth
Misuse of money power is one of the key challenges in Karnataka, CEC Rajiv Kumar said while announcing the poll schedule. Undertrial prisoner shot dead in Saharsa court in Bihar
An undertrial prisoner accused in a murder case was gunned down by four criminals on the Saharsa civil court premises on Tuesday. One of the assailants, identified as Alok Kumar, son of Bhupendra Yadav of Pushpalan Colony, was caught with a country-made pistol and a live cartridge.
