New online recruitment test for Agniveers starts
The online CEE, with the assistance of Education Consultancy Services Ltd under the Union education ministry, will continue till April 26. Under the new process, the shortlisted candidates after the CEE will be called for physical fitness tests at recruitment rallies in phases from June 2023 onwards. In the third stage, the selected candidates will undergo medical tests before the final merit list is declared.

Uttarakhand bridge along China border collapses
The truck driver managed to save himself by jumping into the river before the bridge gave away.The incident occurred around 4.30 pm at Burans near Malari. Soon after the incident, the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), responsible for upkeep of roads and bridges in the area, dispatched a team to the site and commenced reconstruction of the bridge.

Killing of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf: Retired HC judge to head three-member probe panel
The commission will be headed by Allahabad high court judge (retd) Arvind Kumar Tripathi, and will have two other members – retired judge Brijesh Kumar Soni and former DGP Subesh Kumar Singh. The commission will give its report in two months. Principal secretary, home, Sanjay Prasad confirmed the constitution of the inquiry committee.
