A batch of 12 cheetahs will be flown to the country from South Africa next month. The translocation of additional 12 big cats will take the total number of re-introduced cheetahs in India to 20. Eight cheetahs - five female and three male - were brought in from Namibia to Kuno National Park (KNP) in MP in September 2022.
