A 44-year-old worker of Tripura royal scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma’s tribal TIPRA Motha party was dragged out of his vehicle in Dhalai district late Wednesday and fatally assaulted, coinciding with the announcement of assembly polls on February 16 and the Election Commission’s warning of zero tolerance towards violence.
