Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai will lead BJP's 25-member campaign committee for the state polls, in what is seen as the party high command reposing confidence in his leadership since he took over as CM in July 2021, replacing party veteran BS Yediyurappa. Assembly elections in Karnataka are slated to be held in the next few weeks.
