Assam Police on Sunday visited the Bengaluru residence of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) chief Srinivas BV and slapped a notice on him, asking him to appear before it in Guwahati on May 2 for questioning in connection with a case filed against him by expelled Assam Pradesh Youth Congress Committee president Angkita Dutta, alleging harassment by the former for the last six months. Dutta was expelled by the AICC on Saturday (April 22) for “anti-party activities” after she went public and filed an FIR against Srinivas.
