Two states recorded over 2 lakh registrations — Maharashtra (2.8 lakh) and UP (2.7 lakh) — and seven over 1 lakh — Rajasthan, TN, Kerala, Karnataka, Bihar, Bengal and MP. Bringing back the pre-pandemic schedule, NTA had on Dec 16 announced that NEET-UG would be held on May 7.
