Foreign minister S Jaishankar will travel to Cape Town next week to participate in the BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting that will look to firm up the agenda for the summit that South Africa will host in August. The foreign ministers’ meeting is an important forum for focus on political and security cooperation among the member-states and Jaishankar will likely use it to stress the need for all to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States without making any exception.
