In a major security lapse that starkly exposed the ineptness of the administration of maximum-security Tihar Prisons complex, Kashmiri secessionist Yasin Malik, who has been convicted to life imprisonment for terrorism, was brought by jail authorities to the Supreme Court on Friday when his presence was not required.
