Nurses, farmers among 1,800 'special guests' for I-Day event

Fifty nurses, along with their families, are among nearly 1,800 persons invited as "special guests" to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address to the nation on Independence Day from the ramparts of the Red Fort on August 15. They have been invited as part of the government's initiative to invite people from all walks of life. "It is good that the nursing profession is being recognised.
