Irfan Ahmed, a tailor by training, spent 13 years building a mud house in Hardoi’s Bibwikhera, Uttar Pradesh. Using only a spade, straw, twigs, and mud, Ahmed constructed a two-storey underground house with skylights for natural lighting. The house is now a local attraction and provides a cool getaway from the summer heat.
