As part of President Xi Jinping's efforts to strengthen national security and repel foreign threats, Beijing's top universities are incorporating spy-catching courses into their syllabus. Students are being instructed to become a "defense line" against foreign forces, and interactive training games are being organized. The Chinese Ministry of State Security has also joined social media app WeChat to raise awareness about national security.
