A 14-year-old boy named Ashwin and several others were injured in back-to-back explosions at a prayer session in Kochi. Ashwin, who had traveled with his mother to the venue, suffered hand and face injuries. A nurse named Aksa also suffered burns on her hands. Attendees stated that the organizers had given a safety demonstration, which helped reduce casualties. One attendee named Abhishek risked his life to save elderly people and had to be shifted to the ICU due to smoke inhalation.
