Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed condolences to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas over the loss of civilian lives in the Gaza hospital bombing. Modi also announced that India will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians. While India has expressed solidarity with Israel in the past, it has now shown concern for the mounting civilian casualties in Gaza.
