The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a non-binding resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. The resolution received overwhelming support with 120 votes in favor, 14 against, and 45 abstentions. Notably, the resolution does not mention the Hamas terror group. Countries such as the United States, Israel, and Austria voted against the resolution, while countries including India, Canada, and the UK abstained. Israel criticized the vote, calling it an "infamy" and accusing the international community of supporting "Nazi terrorists.
