The latest excise policy for 2023-24 by the Uttarakhand government includes a new provision allowing individuals to obtain a license for maintaining mini-bars at their residences, subject to specific conditions. Upon approval, license holders are permitted to store up to nine liters of Indian made foreign liquor, 18 liters of foreign alcohol, nine liters of wine, and 15.6 liters of beer at home.
