Two dead in fire accident at Doda Army camp

Two civilians were charred to death in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district after a fire engulfed a shop situated within the Army camp early Saturday. The blaze, which broke out around 2am, was allegedly caused by a snag in a kerosene heater at the Rashtriya Rifles camp in Arnora Ghatt area, official sources said. The deceased — both tailors working at the camp — were identified as Parshotam Lal (55) from Katli village in Samba district, and Som Raj (45) of Chadwa, Kathua district.
