Kota to hold psychological tests in bid to stop student suicides

With the aim to check mounting suicide cases in Kota, the district administration has decided to conduct psychological tests of every coaching students every fortnight. The test will help spot suicidal tendencies among students in time and they could be provided with timely counselling. The decision was taken at a meeting with representatives of coaching institutes, hostels and stakeholders, held on Saturday to review the implementation of norms for coaching centres and hostels.

Sex promising marriage a crime, 20 yrs’ RI proposed for gangrape

Marrying a woman by concealing identity or having intercourse under false promise of marriage, promotion or employment will be treated as crime for the first time under the proposed law -- Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Bill that will replace the Indian Penal Code.
