EAM: US' Pannun inputs impact our national security
India decided to investigate the alleged plot to assassinate Sikh separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun after receiving inputs from the US, which were related to organized crime and national security. An inquiry committee has been formed to look into the matter. Canada did not provide any specific evidence or inputs regarding the killing of pro-Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The US has urged India to participate in the Canadian probe, as Ottawa's claims are based on intelligence shared among the 'Five Eyes' countries.

‘Even Gehlot’s son believed he’d lose’
Lokesh Sharma, officer on special duty (OSD) to outgoing chief minister Ashok Gehlot, reiterated that he did not say anything new about the Congress government not returning to power. He referred to Vaibhav Gehlot's statement in the purported 'red diary' which blamed Ashok Gehlot for the government's failure. Sharma also alleged that the Congress government was monitoring Sachin Pilot's movements and tapping his phone on Ashok Gehlot's instructions.
