10 dead, 22 armymen among 82 missing in Sikkim flash floods

A flash flood in North Sikkim caused by a glacial lake outburst flood has resulted in at least 10 deaths and 82 people missing. The flood has caused extensive damage, washing away bridges and roads and cutting off communication lines. Army personnel and vehicles have also been affected, and search operations are currently underway. The Sikkim government has declared a disaster, and emergency services have been mobilized in the affected areas.
